Justin Bieber - Biography

JUSTIN BIEBER

Justin Bieber is a Canadian pop star who was discovered via YouTube.
“My world got very big, very fast and based on a lot of sad examples—people expect me to get lost in it.”
—Justin Bieber

Synopsis
Born in 1994 in Stratford, Ontario, Canada, to a single mother, Justin Bieber took second place in a local talent competition at a young age and later turned into a YouTube phenomenon. He signed a record contract with Usher and became the first solo artist to have four singles enter the Top 40 before the release of a debut album. His album My World has gone platinum in several countries, though he later experienced a ton of media exposure resulting from offensive activity. He nonetheless made his comeback in 2015 with his first No. 1 song, "What Do You Mean?"
Childhood
Born on March 1, 1994, in the small town of Stratford, Ontario, Canada, Justin Bieber was raised by a single mom. Bieber, whose debut album, My World, hit stores in November 2009, is a true overnight success, having gone from an unknown, untrained singer whose mother posted YouTube clips of her boy performing, to a budding superstar with a big-time record deal, all in just two years.
Bieber always had an interest in music. His mother gave him a drum kit for his second birthday and, as he tells it, he was "basically banging on everything I could get my hands on."
YouTube Sensation
But it was an obscure talent contest in his hometown, in which the 12-year-old Bieber finished second that put him on the road to superstardom. As a way to share his singing with family, Justin and his mom began posting clips of Bieber performing covers of Stevie WonderMichael Jackson and Ne-Yo on YouTube.
Within months, Justin was an Internet sensation, with a large following of fans and an eager manager arranging for the teenager to fly to Atlanta to consider a record deal. There, Bieber had a chance meeting with Usher, who eventually signed the young singer to a contract.

Fix You lyrics

Fix You – Coldplay
When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse
When the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
High up above or down below
When you too in love to let it go
If you never try you will never know
Just what your worth
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down on your face
And I..
Tears stream down your face
I promise you
I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down on your face
And I..
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones

And i will try to fix you

4 Places I Want To Visit

1.      Venice, Italy
I don’t think I have to explain why I want to go to Venice as it is one the most magical places in the world. Given my love for Italy, I just know how much I would love Venice. It would be the perfect spot for the honeymoon we never had.
2.      Alaska
I’ve heard that there is no place like Alaska. You can imagine how it would be but once you see it, it creates such a powerful feeling; the natural vastness, the way of living… It really peaks my curiosity.
3. Tokyo, Japan
Japan interests me. I like the people and I love the food. I would love to experience some authentic, underground, Japanese food, and I would love to go during Sakura season. I can imagine how being surrounded by the pink colored rows of trees would make me feel happy inside. I’d like to submerge myself in the local culture, tea ceremonies, markets, and temples. I am always in the mood for traveling (caught the travel bug long time ago and can’t seem to be cured of it), but after writing this and looking at tons of stunning images of these places I’m really in the mood for traveling.
4. Patagonia, Chile/Argentina

I have never visited my Hispanic neighbors in South America, and though there are many places I’d like to visit, Patagonia is in the top. Patagonia is a region comprised of both Chilean and Argentinian territories including a big part of the Andes, deserts, and both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans on the coasts. I’d specifically love to visit Tierra del Fuego, the southernmost tip of South America. Once again, the natural vast beauty int his area is something I’d like to experience.

Story Telling: Malin Kundang

Long time ago, in a small village near the beach in West Sumatera, lived a woman and her son, Malin Kundang. Malin including a smart kid but a bit naughty. After growing up, He thought to make a living in the country side in hopes of later on when returning home, he was already a wealthy man, so he said to his mother, “Mother, I want to be a rich man, so I want to go to the country side. Please release me.” His mother was originally less agrees with Malin Kundang, but she finally agreed though with a heavy heart. His mother said, "My son, if you have succeeded , don't you forget about your mother and this village, son,"
In country side, he worked diligently. With tenacity and perseverance in work, Malin gradually managed to become a wealthy man. It has a lot of merchant ships with men of more than 100 people. And then, Malin Kundang marry a girl to be his wife.
After a long time, Malin and his wife went to his village. His mother recognize him and then hugged malin and said, "Malin Kundang, my son, why did you go so long without sending any news?". But do you know what happens then? Malin Kundang immediately release her mother's arms and pushed it down. "Hey woman! How dare you claim to be my mother. Don’t you see? I’m a rich man, and you? You’re just an old, poor, and dirty woman!" said Malin Kundang to his mother. Malin Kundang pretended not to recognize his mother, embarrassed by her mother was old and wearing tattered clothes. "Is she your mother?",asked his wife. "No, she was just a beggar who pretended as my mother to get my property," said Malin to his wife.
She is very sad. She is not expected Him to be a rebellious child. And then, she said while crying, "Oh God, if he is my son, I curse he became a rock". Suddenly, a thunderstorm came. Not long after that, Malin's body slowly becomes stiff and eventually finally shaped into a rock.
And the lesson in this story is, as children, we must respect to our parents. Because every word that our parents say is a prayer for us.

Imagination lyrics

Imagination – Shawn Mendes

oh, there she goes again,
every morning it’s the same
you walk on by my house
i wanna call out your name
i want to tell you how beautiful you are
from where i’m standing
you got me thinking what we could be ’cause
i keep craving, craving, you don’t know it but it’s true
can’t get my mouth to say the words they want to say to you
this is typical of love
can’t wait anymore, i won’t wait i need to tell you
how i feel when i see us together forever
in my dreams you’re with me
we’ll be everything i want us to be
and from there, who knows?
maybe this will be the night that we kiss for the first time
or is that just me and my imagination?
we walk, we laugh, we spend our time
walking by the ocean side
our hands are gently intertwined
a feeling i just can’t describe
all this time we spent alone, thinking we could not
belong to something so d*mn beautiful
so d*mn beautiful
i keep craving, craving, you don’t know it, but it’s true
can’t get my mouth to say the words they want to say to you
this is typical of love
can’t wait anymore, i won’t wait i need to tell you how i feel when i see
us together forever
in my dreams, you’re with me
we’ll be everything i want us to be
and from there, who knows?
maybe this will be the night that we kiss for the first time
or is that just me and my imagination
imagination
imagination
in my dreams, you’re with me
we’ll be everything i want us to be
and from there, who knows?
maybe this will be the night that we kiss for the first time
or is that just me and my imagination?
i keep craving, craving, you don’t know it, but it’s true
can’t get my mouth to say the words they want to say to you

Part of Speech

Selasa, 04 April 2017

part of speech (abbreviated form: PoS or POS) is a category of words (or, more generally) which have similar grammattical properties. In the English language, words can be considered as the smallest elements that have distinctive meanings. Based on their use and functions, words are categorized into several types or parts of speech. Part of speech are divided into 8, namely: noun, verb, adjective, adverb, pronoun, preposition, conjunction, and interjections. But that will be discuseed this time only a noun, verb, adjective, adverb and pronoun.

1. Noun
This part of a speech refers to words that are used to name persons, things, animals, places, ideas, or events. Nouns are the simplest among the 8 parts of speech, which is why they are the first ones taught to students in primary school.
Examples:
  • Tom Hanks is very versatile.

  • Dogs can be extremely cute.
In this example, the italicized word is considered a noun because it names an animal.
  • It is my birthday.
The word “birthday” is a noun which refers to an event.

2. Verb
This is the most important part of a speech, for without a verb, a sentence would not exist. Simply put, this is a word that shows an action (physical or mental) or state of being of the subject in a sentence.
Examples of “State of Being Verbs” : amiswasare, and were

Examples:
  • As usual, the Stormtroopers missed their shot.

  • They are always prepared in emergencies.
  • The verb “are” refers to the state of being of the pronoun “they,” which is the subject in the sentence.

3. Adverb
Just like adjectives, adverbs are also used to describe words, but the difference is that adverbs describe adjectives, verbs, or another adverb.
Examples:
The different types of adverbs are:
  • Adverb of Manner– this refers to how something happens or how an action is done.
Example: Annie danced gracefully.
The word “gracefully” tells how Annie danced.
  • Adverb of Time- this states “when” something happens or “when” it is done.
Example: She came yesterday.
The italicized word tells when she “came.”
  • Adverb of Place– this tells something about “where” something happens or ”where” something is done.
Example:  Of course, I looked everywhere!
The adverb “everywhere” tells where I “looked.”
  • Adverb of Degree– this states the intensity or the degree to which a specific thing happens or is done.
Example: The child is very talented.
The italicized adverb answers the question, “To what degree is the child talented?”

4. Adjective
An adjective provides information about a noun. An adjective describes the noun. Words like big, small, fast, and slow are adjectives. Sometimes a whole phrase can be an adjective, if it is giving information about a noun.
Examples:
  • The carvings are intricate.
The italicized word describes the appearance of the noun “carvings.”
  • I have two hamsters.
The italicized word “two,” is an adjective which describes the number of the noun “hamsters.”
  • Wow! That doughnut is huge!
The italicized word is an adjective which describes the size of the noun “doughnut.”

5. Pronoun
A pronoun is a part of a speech which functions as a replacement for a noun. Some examples of pronouns are: Iit, he, she, mine, his, hers, we, they, theirs, and ours.

Examples:
-       Janice is a very stubborn child. She just stared at me and when i told her to stop.
-       The largest slice is mine
